Spend 15 minutes playing SINKER THINKER (it's more fun if you have someone to compete against - who can get the total more quickly?).

ENGLISH

Read through some of the animal poems in the document below (I have included a lot of poems, so don't worry if you can't manage to read them all).

Choose an animal and write your own poem about it. You might want to use one of the examples to help you structure your poem. You might choose to use rhyme or you might choose a descriptive poem full of similes and metaphors or you might choose a concrete poem, where the words make a particular shape. Happy writing!

OTHER

For today's third activity, you may need to do a bit of research.

Your task is to write an information leaflet about the life cycle of the common frog. Make sure you include diagrams and use the correct science words for stages of the cycle. I have included an example text below for you to look at - it may help you to organise your leaflet.
