Writing task - Design your own VE Day medal and write an explanation of the symbolism of each part eg the colour or pattern of the ribbon, the significance of the front and back design along with how and where you think this medal would have been awarded (Buckingham Palace? 10 Downin Street?). You may also like to design your own VE Day bunting too, either usin the Union Jack design or one of your own.
