12/03/24 - A very soggy (but incredibly fun) Forest School session today 🌧️🌲
Year 6 gained lots of informative and useful knowledge in their first aid workshop. They learnt skills such as the recovery position, CPR and how to be aware of keeping others safe ⛑
A fun spelling activity to support our consolidation of key Y5/6 curriculum words
World Book Day collaborative reading with Year 3 and enjoying making book review dodecahedrons 📚
Thank you to PC Laura for an informative Year 6 Online Safety lesson. We learnt lots and were able to discuss a range of hypothetical scenarios to support our understanding 📱
As Spring 1 comes to an end, so too does our book ‘Boy In The Tower’ - a fantastic read! 📙 We are now moving on to our shared class book entitled ‘The Final Year’. We look forward to letting you know what it is like 📕
Forest School fun in Spring 1! 🌲
31/01/24 - In September, Y6 had a session with Miss Greenwood where they shared and talked about their favourite books. They learnt about a new challenge set by Blue Peter to earn a Book Badge. We are so very proud of one of our class members for applying for and earning this amazing accolade – one to treasure forever. A super ambassador for our love of reading at Christ Church!
31/01/23 - 'Stay and Read' in Year 6!
January's Writer of the Month - wow! ✍️
21/01/24 - A brilliant start to our new topics in Science and History 🧪🚢
