What is life like for Angelica Horta, age 6?
This term pupils will learn about Tocuaro in Mexico and compare this place with Cheltenham, England. Angelica Horta and her family will show pupils how life is different in a developing country in North America. Pupils will recap their learning on continents and find out about the culture of Mexico.
Year 2 have performed "10 Things Found in a Wizard's Pocket" by Ian McMillan as part of their Performance Poetry unit in English.
Year 2 enjoyed a zoom Readathon thank you summer party celebration. We listened to MG Leonard (author of the Beetle Boy series and Adventures on Trains books), took part in quiz questions, listened to Michael Rosen recite his famous Chocolate Cake poem as well as take part in a draw-a-long with Sarah McIntyre.
We were thanked for raising money for our Readathon raising money for books for children in local hospitals.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
