A calm end to our ‘mental health and well-being week’ in school.
No screen Wednesday Afternoon - as part of looking after our mental health we have discussed the importance of reducing screen time where possible and doing the things that make us happy. Lots of us spent time baking, making dens, doing craft activities and getting outside in the fresh air!
We have been busy creating fractions at home using many interesting items!
This week we have been writing adverts to tempt more Vikings to invade and settle in Britain. Would these encourage you to cross the sea?
Viking Art - We started this unit by learning how to draw a Viking Long Ship. We then experimented with creating seascapes using a variety of materials from around the house. Our final pieces combine both our drawing and collage skills.
