We have been reading some stories about Elmer the elephant. We have been thinking about colours and shapes, what we know about Elmer and elephants and about our families and friends. We made our own Elmers, coloured pictures of Elmer and made Elmer ears
We learnt about the dentist and the importance of tooth brushing. We had a go at cleaning some false teeth and got our own toothbrush and toothpaste to take home, with a poster about how to brush our teeth properly.
As part of Black History month we looked at the artist Alma Thomas. She was an African American artist who created colourful abstract paintings and mosaics. We created Autumn pictures using paint and cotton buds to make it look like mosaics.
