Geography 

This week, we are going to look at a village in Mexico and a family that live there. 

Questions to investigate:

• Can you use an atlas or map (maybe Google maps!) to find a place called Tocuaro?
• Where is it in relation to Mexico City?
• Can you describe where it is using positional language? 
• What do you think the village of Tocuaro would be like? You could write a few sentences or draw pictures to explain. 
• Think about how Tocuaro might be different or similar to where you live. 

Have a look at the document below to see the Horta family who live in Tocuaro. Can you work out which child is Angelica (she is 6 years old)? Think of some questions that you would like to ask Angelica about where she lives and what her life is like.
