We have been really fortunate to have had all the children in the C and I Centre this term. This means that we have been able to learn together in our 'bubble.'
Some highlights of the term have been:
Being able to play out in the snow together.
Learning some great netball skills, particularly on our footwork when being a 'Human Pac Man.'
Having a great 'Drop Everything and Read Day.' We presented poems and stories to each other and loved watching Tweedy being funny in his show. We also did a virtual quiz with children's author, Sam Copeland and learnt some very interesting facts!
Mental Health Week focused on 'Expressing Yourself.' We explored our personal thoughts and our future aspirations using Oliver Jeffers book, What We'll Build' and Charlie Mackesey's, 'The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse.' We also had a secret artist, who sneaked into the Centre to display a new picture each day. The children came up with a cunning plan, for Mrs Paterson to hide all night in the cupboard to find out who it was. It worked! Only we know the true identity of the Banksy of Christ Church!
