Spring 1

We have had a busy term with lots of learning and fun. We have been working hard on communication and interaction skills in our intervention groups. Also, we have been thinking about 'Growth Mindset,' considering how we can build our resilience and perseverance.

It has been great to try out some Philosophy 4 Children sessions, discussing and debating topics such as, 'Should children go to work?' or

'What super power would we like to have and why?'

We had a great morning at Skills Zone, learning how to stay safe in the real living scenes. We now know how to be safer on roads and are much more aware of dangers in the home. We loved ringing 999 on a simulated telephone system and know the information that we need to give to the police, fire and ambulance service in an emergency.
