October - Black History Month. In Year 4 we studied the story of Henry Box 📦 Brown and his fight for freedom. We empathised into his role and wrote detailed diary accounts in pen .

On Monday 25th September, Daxa our special Hindu visitor taught us lots about her faith - Hinduism.
Year 4, 5 and 6 were treated to a performance of live music by students from Dean Close on Tuesday morning. The children learnt about different styles of music, heard renditions of many classical pieces and were able to ask questions to inspire their musical knowledge.
In English we have been planning our time slip story and researching historical artefacts to refer to.
In Maths we are studying Place Value and learning about thousands.
