Maths
Work on Doodle Maths for 15 minutes.
Try the third "Maths on the Move" Year 2 quiz....hopefully you're good at these quizzes by now!
Work through this PowerPoint to learn about tally charts and pictograms. Make sure that you try to answer the questions before revealing the answer!
Next, use this sheet to help you to create your own pictogram. You will need to decide on 5 different ice cream flavours and then ask your family and friends which is their favourite flavour. Use the tally chart to gather this information and then draw your pictogram! If you don't have many people to ask, you can just pretend! Have a look at my example sheet if you're unsure.
English
Spelling: Practise your spellings (look-say-cover-write-check) for 10 minutes.
Look at Monday's home learning page to find this week's spelling list.
Ask somebody to test you on this week's spellings.
Reading: Choose a book to read aloud to an adult. Make sure you share ideas and discuss what is happening in the story.
Writing: Read through the Friday booklet to check that you understand the tasks. Complete as much of the booklet as you wish.
