Autumn Term 2021
Christmas lunch - We enjoyed our delicious Christmas lunch and had fun pulling crackers and telling jokes!
Mini First Aiders - we had a fantastic afternoon learning lots of extremely important and life-saving skills.
Oracy - We have been researching and learning all about deforestation. Using our speaking and listening skills, we have worked in groups to prepare a “Public Service Announcement” to warn people about the dangers of deforestation.
Our art sessions this term have helped us to improve our sketching and colour matching skills. We have been creating colourful pictures of beetles to link with our rainforest topic. Drafting and peer feedback have helped us to improve our pieces.
We were visited by PC Forrester today. He taught us a lot about internet safety and what we should and shouldn’t be posting online. It was a very interesting session and we look forward to seeing him again soon.
11th November 2021 - Remembrance Day. We have spent time discussing and thinking about Remembrance. Here are a few examples of our acrostic poems.
Oracy- lots of positive talk in class this week. We now have our Talk Rules in place!
Skipping workshop
We have started to create our brilliant sock monkeys for our DT project!
We are enjoying our first week in Owl Class and learning more about the various species.

"Is it too late to save the Amazon Rainforest?"
This term, we will be exploring South America in particular looking at the Amazon Rainforest and its importance globally.
