(Answers at the bottom of this page)
ENGLISH
Practise this week's spellings (LOOK-SAY-COVER-WRITE-CHECK).
Carefully look through your story-writing from last week. If an adult is available, share your writing with them and use a coloured pen (purple if you have it) to edit and improve your sentences. Think about these questions:
Is my story engaging - have I hooked the reader?
Am I writing in paragraphs?
Has there been some interesting action so far?
Have I used adventurous vocabulary (good word choices)? List the WOW! words
Are the characters believable?
Am I sticking to my plan?
Then, continue writing your story. Remember, don't rush through the plot - QUALITY writing is better than QUANTITY!
OTHER
To continue our Geography topic on Central America, I would like you to find out about the climate of this part of the World. Watch the BBC clip (below) about climate zones.
