Today I would like you to write a persuasive text about a food you don't like much. You need to make this food sound incredible - you are trying to persuade people that it is really yummy.

Think carefully about all the arguments you could include - it looks and smells good, it tastes fantastic, it's healthy, it's cheap etc.

Do some research to find out what other foods we eat that might have been grown in Costa Rica.

Have a discussion with your family members at home to decide whether you think it is a good thing that so much of our food travels a long way to get to us - think about the people of Costa Rica: is it good that the food they grow is sent across the ocean to us?
