Poems and rhymes about numbers are very common. Look at the examples below.

 

 

 

Today's task is to create your own poem about numbers.

Your poem might rhyme, but does not have to. You might like to do an acrostic poem or even a shape poem. 

If you really struggle with ideas, use the template in the document below to create a simple poem about your favourite number:

I'm sure you remember doing colour by numbers, like the one below:

 

I would like you to have a go at creating your own colour by numbers for others to have a go at.

 

First, think of something you can draw - keep it simple.

Then divide your drawing up into sections.

Next create a colour key.

Finally, write numbers in the sections of your drawing to correspond to the correct colours.
