This term, I have planned lots of exciting learning for our new enquiry project “What is life like for Angelica Horta, age 6?” In this Geography led theme, we will be comparing and contrasting life in Cheltenham with life in Tocuaro, Mexico.

 

Areas of learning for Term 6:

English – Narrative, Information text, Poetry                                          Geography – What is life like for Angelica Horta, age 6?

Maths – Capacity, Mass and Temperature, Position and Direction     DT – Textiles, sewing felt decorations 

Science – Living Things and their Habitats                                              PSHE – Changing Me and Relationships and Sex Education

PE – Net and Wall games, Athletics                                                          RE – What makes some places sacred to believers?

Computing – Pictograms, Typing skills, e-Safety, Research              Music – Reflect, Rewind and Replay

Observing caterpillars change to butterflies

Sports Day

Drama activities in English with the book The Tear Thief
