This week is British Science Week and the theme of the week is 'Innovating the Future'! Children have made an amazing start today- Year 1 and 2 already been looking at different inventors and coming up with their own inventions to send in to the national poster competition. Year 5 have been busying presenting their designs to a 'Dragon's Den' Panel and Year 6 have been busy researching Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla. They have also been using our school electricity kits to create and test their own circuits! We are all looking forward to the finale of 'Otto's Challenge' at the end of the week, where the whole school will be junk modelling inventions to be judged by our Science Ambassador, Mrs Parker and Miss Devoy!
