Year 6 thoroughly enjoyed a history-based workshop this week which was led by lecturers and student teachers from the University of Gloucestershire. The children became investigative historians, looking at the work of John Snow who conducted pioneering investigations on cholera epidemics in England and particularly in London in 1854, in which he demonstrated that contaminated water was the key source of the epidemics.
