Y6 learnt about how animals and plants adapt to suit their environment through a practical task involving adding (Blu-tac) physical adaptations to a (printed) early mammal. This involved lots of oracy discussions and justification as to why these adaptations had been chosen. Children then shared these aloud with the class.

Y6 have been enjoying their dance lessons. This week, they learnt a street dance routine 🕺

Y5 and Y6 were visited today by Lauren, a local magistrate 👩‍⚖️ Lauren shared information about an upcoming opportunity to partake in a mock trial and the children engaged in a live debate!

Super Scientists learning about inherited and environmental characteristics 🧬

Y6 thoroughly enjoyed their trip to the Mandir on Tuesday where they engaged with lots of learning to support their current RE unit. Thank you to Mrs Sugur for organising such an enriching experience ✨
