Year 2 had a brilliant time at Cheltenham Science Festival. They listened to Dr Punam Krishan (celebrity GP and contestant on Strictly Come Dancing last year). She spoke about “You and Your Body” her new book and the children had the opportunity to ask questions. Afterwards, they had one hour in the “Maker Shack” and they loved creating and designing with their friends. We also bumped into our new local Mayor David Willingham who gave the children time, and we had photographs with his gold chain dating back to 1877! The previous day we had been talking about what a “mayor” is so we took the opportunity to stop and talk to him! Thank you, once again, to our parent helpers who came along.
