Year 2 D+T Sewing project
Children designed and sewed their own animal felt decoration this year with some pupils making it at the local care home with the residents which brightened up their day! All the children explored ideas for flower theme cushion covers and worked as a group to combine ideas before sewing 5 cushions we will donate to the care home as a gift for the residents. Many thanks to Meridon and Bella’s mums who came to help with using a sewing machine. We will share the final finished cushions with you soon!
