Lead Road Safety Officer Visit
On Monday, Christ Church children from Y1-6 were visited by Emily Booker, a lead road safety officer for Gloucestershire who delivered an informative and interesting service focused on how to stay safe near roads, including the importance of using crossings, being alert and avoiding distractions like phones or headphones. The children were reminded to stop, look, listen and think before crossing. The service encouraged everyone to take responsibility for their safety and make sensible choices when near traffic. Y5/6 also enjoyed an informative workshop after the service, involving practical activities and investigations linked with road safety.
