Our learning and activities this term
We have had a busy start to our school year. It has been lovely to be back together in the Centre and meeting up with our mainstream friends as well. We have enjoyed lots of trips and visitors into school. The authors that we saw at the Literature Festival were inspiring. Even the teachers wanted to go home and write a book or draw a fantastical creature in the style of Cressida Cowell!
We have been working hard on all aspects of school life. It is great to see children taking on responsibility- becoming computer ambassadors, trying out for house captain, being on the eco council and school council. These are important roles and great practice in communicating effectively.
