Y5 and Y6 thoroughly enjoyed their trip today to Cheltenham Jazz Festival They learnt lots about different types of jazz and were able to listen to live music!
Year 2 enjoyed the mapwork with Geography Students from
@UoGEducation today practising the continents. The children were so knowledgable!
We are continuing to develop our provision at lunchtimes so that there are more opportunities for all children. A big change this week was ‘Wheely Wednesdays’ when the MUGA was taken over with wheeled toys – mostly donated by you. The children had a brilliant time as you can see in the pictures.
Children have also enjoyed den building. We are on the lookout for donations - anything that will help with this would be much appreciated, eg. old ripped tent fabric, tarpaulin etc.
Thank you to Mrs Slee for her donation of the mud kitchen – it is fantastic. We are encouraging children to keep the mud on the kitchen rather than themselves but think that the benefit far outweighs the washing! We are purchasing some aprons too. More donations of kitchen trays, pans, spoons etc would be gratefully received. Imagine the opportunity to replace your pots and pans at home while donating to a good cause!
Please keep us in mind before you throw anything out! We are happy to accept donations.
Our new ‘Reading for Pleasure’ display has been created by the Reading Ambassadors. The theme is individuality. Children can borrow books from the display and, after a month, these books will go into classrooms.
Our wonderful Y6 General Knowledge Team WON the ‘Cheltenham Rotary School Quiz 2023’ We are so proud of them!
