  • Virtual Tour of a Synagogue

    Fri 01 Mar 2024

As part of our R.E. topic ‘Who is Jewish and what do they believe?’ Year One were lucky enough to have a Zoom call with Jennifer, a local Jewish lady, in our lesson this week. We had prepared different questions for her which the children loved to ask. She took us on a virtual tour of her synagogue, showed us where the Torah scroll is kept and we learnt all about the objects she has in her home.

  • Organ Recital

    Fri 08 Dec 2023

Year 6 thoroughly enjoyed their educational music trip to Cheltenham Ladies College last Thursday where they learnt about the workings of a pipe organ and also had a go at playing. The pipe organ is a musical instrument that produces sound by driving pressurised air (called wind) through the organ pipes selected from a keyboard. A special thank you to Mr Williams for such an enriching experience for the children – they learnt lots about this instrument (including composition) and were totally inspired!
