Kindness

Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to be kind to each other and everyone else.

(1 Thessalonians 5:15)

Our school motto is ‘Always Be Kind’ and this is rooted at the heart of everything we do.  As we think about the value of kindness, we think about how we can take care of others, our environment and our world.  We recognise how important it is be humble, to recognise other people's achievements and to listen carefully and respectfully to their thoughts and ideas.  We also consider these key questions:

What does the Bible teach us about kindness? 

What does it mean to be a good neighbour?  How can you be a good neighbour?

How do you help others?  Have you shown an act of kindness today?

In what ways do we encourage members of the school family to show kindness to one another?

Do you think of everyone you meet as offering an opportunity to be kind?

Do you have the courage to care and be kind?
