Welcome to the Communication and Interaction Centre!
Happy New Year!
What a busy term we have this term, lots of learning in class as well as going on another trip to the Ernest Cook Trust.
The topics this term cover all sorts from Ancient Greece all the way to Antarctica. Reception are going to be finding out all about the snow, where it goes when it melts and what animals live in it. Year two are also going to be cold this term as they explore Antarctica and the things that live there. Year four want to know if the Vikings were Raiders or Traders and are also finding out about the Anglo-Saxons. Year five are exploring those Mysterious Mayans and will find out if they left any legacies behind. Year six are going way back in time to the Ancient Greeks and looking at their Gods and Warriors.
We had a great time on our trip to the Ernest Cook Trust! We followed a trail around the forest and found some hedgehogs, we made some dens for the hedgehogs to hibernate in and we had lots of fun making leaf crowns, hunting for different types of leaves and finding autumn coloured things on the forest floor.
