The sun shone on Chosen Hill's netball courts today providing a fantastic venue for the MoveMore A Team tournament. Christ Church got off to a great start beating St. Marks 2-1 having gone behind in the first half. The team then grew in confidence as they went on to beat Oakwood 4-0. Grangefield proved a tougher opposition and Christ Church were narrowly beaten after their equalising goal on the final whistle was disallowed. The team did not let this get them down and went on to earn another win against local rivals St. James'. A place in the semi finals was all dependant on the result of the final game against Naunton Park. After some fantastic attacking a defending, the final game ended in a 1-1 draw. Unfortunately this was not quite enough to see Christ Church through to the semi finals. The team went on to win their afternoon game against Charlton Kings meaning they finished in an impressive 5th position out of 12 schools.
Well Done Christ Church, you played your hearts out and should be proud of your achievements!
