Why do we know so much about where Sappho lived?
I hope everyone had a lovely Easter break. This term, I have planned lots of exciting learning for our new enquiry project “Why do we know so much about where Sappho lived?” In this history-led theme, we will learn about the destruction of Pompeii in AD79 from the eruption of Vesuvius and how we can learn from the past using evidence. In our science work, we will learn about plants. Our trip to Sandfield Farm is this Wednesday 30th April – please see the letter sent last term. We also have an upcoming visit to WWT Slimbridge on Wednesday 21st May – details have been sent last term.
