Pupil Premium

The pupil premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils of all abilities and to close the gaps between them and their peers.  We track all children’s progress closely at Christ Church and ensure that they are reaching their full potential whatever their circumstances. It is for schools to decide how the Pupil Premium is spent, since they are best placed to assess what additional provision should be made for the  pupils within their responsibility.

Mrs Pendlebury, Deputy Headteacher, currently hold responsibility for pupil premium. Should you wish to discuss this, please email cpendlebury@christchurch.dgat.org.uk

Atom Learning

Free KS2 learning and 11+ preparation

Free learning resources for Christ Church CofE Primary School families | Atom Learning

We are pleased to share access to Atom Learning, a high-quality online platform designed to support children aged 7–11 (Years 3–6). Through our partnership with Atom Learning, children eligible for pupil premium can benefit from free access to a comprehensive programme of online learning and 11+ test preparation materials. This is particularly valuable for pupils who would benefit from additional practice in English, maths and reasoning, as well as those preparing for entrance exams. The platform offers engaging, adaptive activities that pupils can complete at home, helping to build confidence, reinforce classroom learning and provide extra challenge where needed. Please click on the link above to find out more.

Families who are not in receipt of pupil premium can still access Atom Home through a paid subscription if they would like their child to benefit from the platform.
