Year 2’s walk to the local Farmers’ Market
Year 2 walked to the Promenade last week to experience a Farmers’ Market. We asked questions to the sellers and had a few samples of their produce. This links to their learning in Geography this term “Why does it matter where our food comes from?”
We saw cheese from Gloucestershire and further afield, fudge, vegetables grown near Evesham, bread baked in Bishops Cleeve and we tasted some back at school! Thank you again to the parent helpers who came along to support us.
