Dog’s Trust Assembly and workshops
We enjoyed a special assembly with Charlotte from the Dog’s Trust who taught us about how to behave when we meet a dog. We should Check, Call and Count.
- You check with the owner if you can stroke their dog.
- You call the dog over to you by hitting your thighs and saying their name.
- You count to 3 as you stroke the dog’s side three times then you let the dog go.
Years 3 and 4 enjoyed workshops with Charlotte to find out more about dogs.
