First Netball Matches of the Season
On Thursday 15th November Christ Church Netball Teams played their first competitive matches of the season. We had two teams who played against Airthrie School, using the fantastic facilities at Well Place thanks to the generosity of Cheltenham Ladies College. Our strong teams, made up of boys and girls from years 4 to 6, both got of to a flying start. By half time both Christ Church teams were ahead in their respective matches after some great attacking play and accurate shooting. However, Airthrie then began to find their feet and fought back in both games and had taken the lead by the final whistle. All our children played extremely well and we are now looking forward to preparing for the A and B Team festivals run by Move More.
